do you have questions?

If you’ve got questions about waxing, don’t worry we’ve got the answers you need! The following FAQs will answer many of the questions you have may have regarding pre-waxing and post-waxing care, as well as our services relating to skin care and unwanted hair removal, all in one place.

Waxing removes hair at the root, and after consistent waxing the hair begins to grow in finer. Hair that is a at least a quarter inch long when it’s waxed typically won't begin to grow back for two weeks. Shaving cuts the hair at a blunt angle causing stubble. Shaving does not pull the hair out at the root so the hair begins to grow back within hours.

We recommend exfoliation of the skin and refraining from using any moisturizers or moisturizing soaps/body washes in the bikini area. When you exfoliate you are removing the top layer of dead skin, allowing new hair to grow free, and not get trapped. Using an exfoliating cloth or glove between your appointments helps to reduce ingrown hairs.

We are by appointment only, but if we have availability at the time of walk-in we will accommodate

Absolutely no double dipping!! We use a new wooden stick every time we dip. All of our supplies are disposable.

Yes, but please keep in mind you can be more sensitive during this time. Normally, you are more sensitive the week before, during, and a few days after. If you do decide to come during your cycle, please just wear a tampon.

For best results your hair needs to be at least a 1/4 of an inch long. If you normally shave, stop at least 3 weeks before coming in for waxing and if you have waxed previously please wait between 4 to 6 weeks. For first time waxers, the longer the better. We will trim if necessary. Please don't trim yourself, as you may trim too short. Between your waxing appointments we recommend that you exfoliate your skin and steer clear of moisturizers. Exfoliation sloughs off dead skin, allows new hair to grow and not get trapped, and overall it will help you maintain smoother, softer and healthier skin. Also, taking an Advil 30 min prior to your appointment time can help lessen the pain and inflammation.

All of our supplies are properly cleaned between each client. They are first cleaned with warm, soapy water. They are then immersed in a medical-grade disinfectant.
